TWU, NCTC and Denton ISD partner to increase nurses, teachers in North Texas

Leaders at Texas Woman's University, North Central Texas College and the Denton Independent School District today signed innovative agreements aimed at enhancing the talent pool of nurses and teachers in Denton and Cooke counties and elsewhere. The agreements allow students to earn degrees more quickly and at lower cost while curbing administrative costs at the institutions.

Family Graduation Celebration wins international award

The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) recently recognized Family Graduation Celebration at Texas Woman’s University as the 2018 Collaborative Program of the Year. The university’s Student Union and Campus Alliance for Resource Education worked with 10 other collaborative partners to create this unique experience for students and their families.

Texas Woman's University officials today announced James R. Lumpkin, dean of the Soules College of Business at the University of Texas at Tyler, will become Founding Dean of the university's new College of Business, effective July 1.

TWU Theatre presents a comedy about the end of the world

The Texas Woman’s University Theatre Program concludes its 2017-2018 theatre season with the Pulitzer Prize-winning The Skin of Our Teeth by Thornton Wilder. TWU Theatre program director Patrick Bynane, Ph.D., will direct. The production runs April 18-22, 2018.
