Benefits for Pre-service

Pre-service Pioneras' participation in this project is geared toward the improvement of their Spanish proficiency and content pedagogy in Spanish. To support them, Project PIONERAS:

• Covers tuition and fees for 3 undergraduate courses during regular university terms (est. $3,750).
• Covers tuition, transportation, room and board for a Spanish language study abroad program and 2 undergraduate courses (est. $8,500).
• Provides a one-time stipend for books, supplies, materials and Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test, BTLPT, registration ($1,000).
