Scholarship Programs

The Center for Student Leadership manages two premier scholarship programs, which are awarded to incoming students. Scholarships are awarded based on students’ leadership and community service in high school, as well as their potential to serve as an effective leader on campus and in the community.

Confident, skilled and knowledgeable leaders are needed to inspire, lead and foster dynamic and viable organizations and communities throughout the state, nation and the world.

The Jane Nelson Institute Legacy Leaders program is a multi-year, structured experience designed for student leaders who want to leave a legacy and make an impact in their communities and industries.

Develop your leadership skills to be prepared to take on leadership roles in the public or private sector. The goal of the Legacy Leaders Program is to prepare a cadre of confident, skilled and knowledgeable individuals who serve as nonprofit or corporate board members, local or state commissioners, community organizers, business or industry executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, public policy analysts, elected or appointed official or other leaders.
