Classroom Reservations

Non-Academic Classroom Reservations

Requests for non-class meetings and events are processed through Conference Services. However, specialty classrooms and labs cannot be reserved through Conference Services. Visit the Classroom Knowledge Base for a comprehensive list of capacities and features.

The following general-use space in classroom buildings may be reserved for events:

Event Policies

TWU student organizations and departments do not pay a fee to use space in classroom buildings.  Fees may apply for technology assistance, equipment rentals, security and other services.

External clients should contact Conference Services for information about renting TWU classrooms.

Reservation Time Frames

Requests for academic spaces can be submitted once the academic schedule for a given semester has been finalized.

  • Fall Semester Reservations - Requests open in late March or early April
  • Spring Semester Reservations - Requests open in late October or early November

Submit a Reservation

Student organizations and departments submit requests through Mazevo.

External and community groups submit the TWU Event Inquiry Form or contact the Student Union and Conference Services Office.

Event Equipment and Services

On the Denton Campus, Event equipment and services (tables, chairs, custodial, etc.) can be added to reservations through EMS.  Requests for equipment and services must be received at least 1 week prior to the event, and 3 weeks prior if set-up assistance is needed.

On the Dallas and Houston campuses, equipment and services can be requested through the Facilities Management Work Request form.

Tech Support for Classroom Reservations

Media Services provides technology support for all non-class meetings and events.  

Technology support in classroom spaces includes:

  • In-person support to assist in starting the meeting
  • Dedicated on-site event support
  • Support for streaming/web conferencing (Zoom)
  • Consultation to assist in planning for events

Media Services support can be requested through Mazevo.  If an event is in a location that was not booked through Conference Services, email mediaservices@twu.edu.
