Faculty, adjunct professors, alumni represent TWU at TLA

April 19, 2023 — DENTON — Faculty, adjunct professors and alumni from the School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) in the College of Professional Education (COPE) are in Austin for the 2023 Texas Library Association Annual Conference April 19-22. 

The TLA conference is one of the premier events for librarians in Texas. Every year, TWU SLIS hosts a reception that serves as an awards presentation and an opportunity for alumni to connect. This year, that event takes place Friday, April 21, from 6-7:30 pm at the Austin Grand Ballroom, Salon J on the sixth floor of the Hilton Austin. Don't miss out.

Throughout the week, you can see the TWU Exhibit Booth at the #1909 location in the exhibit hall. It will be open:

  • Wednesday, April 19 from 3:45 – 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 20, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Friday, April 21 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
