The mission of Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority, Inc. is to promote the importance of community service involvement and academic achievement, as well as  to educate and excel the stance of Latin Cultures in this diversely enriched society. The Senoritas of SLA strive to be a prominent sorority recognized for our integrity and high morals and, to be recognized for our commitment to our sisterhood and our emphasis on academic achievement, community service and leadership development. The sisters of SLA aim to be well rounded individuals. Academics come first, followed by much drive to succeed, and much passion to excel. We are individually unique but together we are complete. We are Senoritas Latinas in Accion! (Latin Ladies in Action)
