Our Education Abroad Advisor can assist you in the following ways:

• Provide a general overview and understanding of Education Abroad opportunities
• Identify Education Abroad programs to meet your needs
• Navigate the application and registration process
• Complete electronic paperwork
• Answer logistical questions related to pre-departure, living abroad, and returning home

Global Advisor

Our Global Advisor will be in the Student Union at Hubbard Hall first floor performance center every Wednesday from 12-2 PM during the Spring 2024 semester, so stop by to ask questions!

Exploration

 Consider personal, academic, and professional goals

 Research programs, eligibility requirements, and scholarship opportunities

Planning

 Compare programs based on type of program, location, program length, course availability, housing, costs, and more

 Complete the Education Abroad Advising Intake Form

 Schedule a meeting with Andrea, our Global Advisor

 Schedule any follow up meetings with Alex, our Education Abroad Advisor

 Meet with Academic Advisor(s) and review available courses in degree plan and discuss staying on track

 Understand your financial aid (Education Abroad will also help with this)

Application

 Apply on abroad.twu.edu and complete all of our requirements

 Apply to relevant scholarships

Pre-Departure

 Attend Pre-Departure Orientation

 Complete all application paperwork including the Credit Pre-Approval form

Live & Learn Abroad

 Check in with Education Abroad office

 Confirm course registration

 Have a life-changing experience!

Re-Entry

 Attend Re-Entry Orientation

 Complete re-entry paperwork including the Course Substitution form
