TWU to host Childhood Apraxia Support Group meeting

DENTON— The Texas Woman’s University Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic will host a Childhood Apraxia Support Group meeting from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29 in room 601 of the Multipurpose Classroom Laboratory (MCL) Building, 1314 North Bell Avenue. Free parking will be available in the visitor’s lot, located on the northeast corner of Bell Avenue and Administration Drive. For a map of the campus, visit www.twu.edu/maps.asp

Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) is a motor speech disorder that causes young children to have problems making the movements to talk. The support group meeting will provide new information and an opportunity to connect with other parents. Snacks will be available.
