TWU’s Patrice Armor recognized as IT Manager of the Year by state group

DENTON – Patrice Armor, manager of technical programming for Texas Woman’s University, is among 11 state public sector information technology (IT) professionals selected as IT Managers of the Year by the 2013 Texas CIO (Chief Information Officer) Academy.

Her peers chose Ms. Armor for the award because of her leadership, vision and dedication to the profession.

“It is truly a privilege and honor to be recognized at the state level alongside such esteemed individuals,” Ms. Armor said. “As significant as receiving this award is to me, I am most appreciative for being recognized by the people I work with on a daily basis.”

Ms. Armor has served in the TWU Office of Technology since 1999 and has worked for the university since 1994.
