TWU now subscribes to GrantScoop, a web-based resource for scientists who are seeking grant money. This database offers a curated, up-to-date list of private and government funding opportunities for basic and clinical researchers focused on human health. This resource has been compiled by scientists, for scientists, at all career stages from graduate student to senior PI.Signing up for GrantScoop is easy. Go to www.grantscoop.com and create a user account using your “@twu.edu” email address. When you come to the bottom of the sign up page, under ‘Plan’, please choose “Institutional Access”, this will give you immediate access to the site.
GrantScoop is very user friendly. However, if you need additional help, you may view the GrantScoop Frequently Asked Questions for hints on using the system. You may also complete the GrantScoop Profile Questionnaire and send it to Dr. Donna Scott Tilley who will keep you apprised of funding opportunities that might be a fit. However, you will likely find that GrantScoop is so easy to use you will just want to track it yourself.
Note that the focus of GrantScoop is rather biomedical and that TWU also subscribes to SPIN which is another funding database that is more inclusive of various disciplines.
