***Graduate school rules allow PSY 6983 and PSY 6993 to be taken only twice each or a maximum of 12 credits of dissertation.  Students must be enrolled in the semester they defend the proposal and the semester they defend the final dissertation.

+++ indicates room for optional class (special topics courses), students can take if they wish, but are not required too.  Optional classes do not count in the 124 credits of the program.  Students will not want to exceed 130 credits total, or according to TX rules will pay out of state tuition for credits in excess of 130.
