What is Pioneer Camp?
Pioneer Camp at Texas Woman’s University is a comprehensive and dynamic array of activities for incoming First-Year students during the Fall semester. These activities are designed to ensure that First-Year students have every opportunity to connect with the institution, meet their peers, and meet faculty and staff.
How do I register for Pioneer Camp?
If you are a First-Year student and would like to sign up for Pioneer Camp, register here. You will not be able to register until you have attended orientation.
Is there a cost associated?
The cost of attendance is included in your First-Year Orientation fees.
Do I have to pay for meals?
Meals during Pioneer Camp will be a mixture of complimentary and Meal Plan meals. Please note, while some meals are free throughout Pioneer Camp, during the regular school year you will be required to use your Dining Dollars and/or your Meal Plan to dine in the eating facilities on campus.
When will I receive my Pioneer Camp schedule?
You will receive your Pioneer Camp schedule when you check-in on August 22.
What are the events?
The Pioneer Camp 2018 schedule will be available Summer 2018.
What should I go to? Are any of these events mandatory?
Attendance is expected at all sessions and events. There will be chances to win awesome prizes and additional giveaways during some sessions.
