Research Focus

Dr Sit’s research is going to be based on the philosophy that Occupational Therapy helps people of all ages who have physical, developmental, social or emotional problems to promote health and well-being through the client-centered therapeutic and meaningful activities. This belief will be extends to three lines of research on physical rehabilitation in Stroke. The focus will be a qualitative inquiry of Stroke patient in acute care, a validation of the client centered approach and the development of assessment tool in stroke rehabilitation.

Adult physical dysfunction; Hand Therapy; ICU critical and acute care; Low vision; Stroke rehabilitation; Certified in kinesotaping, Interactive Metronome  & Sensory Integration and Praxis Test; Feng shui elements; Tele health medicine; and Foster care for trauma.
