TWU presents ‘Boo at the U’ Oct. 19
Oct. 5, 2017 — DENTON — Treats, train and carriage rides, carnival games, inflatables and a haunted house will be part of Texas Woman’s University’s annual “Boo at the U” Fall Festival from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 at the TWU Student Union, located on the southwest corner of Bell Avenue and Administration Drive. Admission is free and open to the community. Rain or shine, the event will provide a night of fun in a safe environment.
Attendees are encouraged to bring one canned good per person to help support the TWU Food Pantry. Food from Chick-fil-A and a local food truck, as well as a “Build-A-Buddy” stuffed toy activity, will be available for purchase. For more information, call 940-898-3641.
More than 3,000 children attend the festival each year, which includes “trunk or treating” — TWU’s version of trick-or-treating. Cars decorated for the season will be parked throughout the campus visitor parking lot located across from the Student Union, and treats will be given away from their trunks.
