TWU presents 'Boo at the U' Oct. 22
DENTON— Treats, train and carriage rides, carnival games, inflatables and a haunted house will be part of Texas Woman’s University’s annual “Boo at the U” Fall Festival Thursday, Oct. 22 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the TWU Student Union, located on the southwest corner of Bell Avenue and Administration Drive. Admission is free and open to the community. Rain or shine, the event will provide a night of fun in a safe environment. Attendees are encouraged to bring one canned good per person to help support the TWU Food Pantry. For more information, call (940) 898-3641.
More than 3,000 children attend the festival each year, which includes “trunk or treating” — TWU’s version of trick-or-treating. Cars decorated for the season will be parked throughout the campus visitor parking lot located across from the Student Union, and treats will be given away from their trunks.
