TWU adds online master’s degrees for educators
DENTON— Two master’s degree programs aimed at educators who want to further their careers were added to the roster of Texas Woman’s University online degree programs this semester.
The master of arts in administration and master of education in administration degree programs are offered in a combination of online and face-to-face, or hybrid, format, though the number of online courses is expected to increase, according to Teresa Starrett, assistant professor in the department of teacher education at TWU.
“All of our students are full-time teachers,” she said. “We felt this was the best way to serve them.”
Both degree programs are available in a traditional hybrid format and an accelerated hybrid format, offering many courses in five-week sessions with two or three days of face-to-face meetings.
For more information about the administration degrees, contact Starrett at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The addition of these programs brings TWU’s distance education degree offerings to 35. For a complete list of TWU’s online degree and certificate programs, visit www.twu.edu/programs-majors.
