Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music: Level One Training

This introductory training in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music at TWU is taught as a 5-day, 36 continuing credit hour intensive. This immersion in the Bonny Method offers experienced therapists an entryway into training in this method and provides advanced students in music therapy and mental health professions with an experiential taste of the power of music as an agent of change. Learn more or register today!

2018 Pedagogy Workshop with Valerie Coleman

Dates: June 25-26, 2018

Join us at TWU for two days of interactive learning with internationally-acclaimed flutist and composer Valerie Coleman in an intimate and supportive setting!  During both days, you will have the opportunity to brush up on your flute teaching methods in pedagogy sessions and masterclasses as well as perform in a flute choir which will share the stage with Valerie in a combined recital/concert.  Participation in the flute choir is free and open to everyone! Registration is required for pedagogy sessions and masterclasses, and performance in masterclasses is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Pioneer All-State Choir Camp

Dates: August 2-4, 2018
Cost: $100

The Pioneer Choir Camp prepares Texas high school singers from large and small schools for a successful all-state audition process. Our goal is to teach vocal technique and musical interpretation in conjunction with the all-state repertoire.
