Private Lesson Information

Private lessons are available for piano, voice, guitar, flute, and clarinet.  For lessons on other instruments, please contact Chris Madden, the director of the Community Music Center, at communitymusiccenter@twu.edu.

Private lessons allow students to develop proficiency and confidence on their instruments in a one-on-one setting.  Teachers will combine music reading, technique, and musicianship activities into an individualized curriculum based on each student’s goals and interests.  Lessons are taught by either instructors or artist teachers.  Instructors are professional music teachers who have earned at least an undergraduate degree in music.  Artist teachers are on the faculty at Texas Woman’s University.
