Northeast Texas Regional Phi Alpha Theta History Conference

The Eta Nu chapter of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society at TWU is delighted to host the 2014 Northeast Texas Regional Phi Alpha Theta Conference.
Call for Papers
We invite undergraduate and graduate students, from any discipline, to submit individual papers or panels of three inter-related papers to the conference.
- Papers should be history-themed and no more than 10 double-spaced pages in length (to be read in a maximum of 20 minutes).
- Full audiovisual equipment is available for those wishing to supplement their papers with images or sound.
- Prizes for the best undergraduate and best graduate papers will be awarded. Only Phi Alpha Theta student members are eligible for prizes, but non-members may present papers.
The deadline for the submission of paper or panel proposals is March 1, 2014.
Submit a Proposal
Students interested in presenting a paper or proposing a panel should complete a Proposal Submission Form [PDF] and return it by e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org or by USPS to the address on the form by March 1, 2014. Presenters will be notified of acceptance by March 10, 2014.
Anyone attending the conference (presenters, non-presenters, faculty, and students) must complete a Registration Form [PDF] and pay the $30 (per person) registration fee. This fee includes breakfast and lunch on the day of the conference. Registration forms and fees must be mailed to the address on the form no later than March 28, 2014.
