Some education experiences at TWU are bigger than even Texas. Ride the whitewater rapids of Colorado, dive deep into the warm waters of Hawaii, or ski the freshly-fallen powder in Canada’s Rocky Mountains.
There’s a big world outside of Denton and the Outdoor Adventure Program aims to help you explore it. We provide low-cost trips, equipment rentals, and travel resources to the greater TWU community all to help you experience and appreciate the outdoors.
11 Outdoor Adventure Trips
We offer several trips throughout the year including overnight and day trips. So whether you are a beginner or advanced outdoor enthusiast, we have a trip for you. Trips are open to all TWU students only.
Challenge yourself on over 2,000 square feet of climbing space with routes for beginners and advanced climbers. The wall includes a slack line, rappelling station, lead climbing routes and a 15-foot bouldering area.
