Director of Operations
Shawna has been with Chartwells since 2015. She previously served as assistant director of dining services at Southern Methodist University and earned a bachelor of arts in Culinary Management from the Art Institute of Dallas. "I’m excited to introduce the TWU students all that Chartwells has to offer them. From Teaching Kitchen to one-on-one sessions with our management team, Chartwells revolves around the people. I look forward to leading a culture of change for the students, faculty, and staff of TWU."
Tulara worked as the Catering Manager at Western Illinois University and was previously Sr. Catering Manager at Lamar University. Prior to Universities, she worked with the US Army Directorate of Family, Morale, and Recreation as a Caterer and Operations Assistant. Tulara works to provide the best quality of product to her clients by focusing on training, team building, and inventory controls. "I am excited to be a part of the TWU team and am looking forward to bringing in a new and innovative food culture."
Raised in a military family, William has lived in California, Japan, Virginia, Hawaii, Indiana, and Texas. He graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in 2012 where he played football and basketball. Upon high school graduation, he played basketball at Hendrix College before transferring to Midwestern State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 2017 and Management in 2018. While attending Midwestern State University, William began working as a Marketing Ambassador for Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services. William is excited to collaborate with the students of TWU as well as the many different departments to create an exciting, new, and improved dining experience through retail and residential dining concepts.
