Why Pre-Dental Hygiene at TWU?
Taking your core courses at TWU ensures you have the pre-requisites needed for to earn your Bachelor of Science degree. TWU’s dental hygiene program is highly competitive, so there is an advantage to starting your program at Texas Woman’s.
As a pre-dental hygiene student, you will take foundational courses such as microbiology, introduction to nutrition and anatomy and physiology, in addition to core classes required for all undergraduate students and specific department requirements.
In this program, you will complete 60 hours in the prerequisite curriculum. Because of the competitive admissions for the bachelor’s program, we recommend you maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher in the pre-professional program.
