Dr. Allman is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at the university level since 2008 primarily in the areas of language and literacy. Prior to that, she worked as a teacher
of the deaf and literacy coordinator. Dr. Allman’s current line of research is looking at inclusion and assessment for students who are DHH.
