Profile

Cynthia Gill-Sams is currently a professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at TWU since 1996, primarily in the areas of neurology and language disorders. She served as the director of the TWU/TETN distance master’s program from 2004-2012, and she currently serves as the academic director of CLASP International, which has recently graduated the first group of SLPs in the country of Zambia. Dr. Gill-Sams’ current line of research involves international professional preparation initiatives and clinical research for treatment of language disorders.
