Shannon Mantaro, Director for the Center for Women in Business

Shannon Mantaro

Shannon Mantaro assumed leadership of TWU’s Center for Women in Business on Sept. 1, 2017. She joined TWU from the Hamilton Initiative, LLC, at Colgate University in New York, where she was responsible for advancing the university’s economic development program. She also served as the managing director of the Partnership for Community Development, a public/private collaboration between the Town of Hamilton, the village of Hamilton and Colgate University. Her past experience includes facilitating promotion and networking opportunities, developing monthly professional training programs for female business owners training and co-chairing an annual women’s entrepreneurial conference.

Jody Rodriguez holds a bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of North Texas. She has more than 20 years of experience in planning special events and workshops. Jody has experience in various departments at TWU including Admissions, Admissions Processing and the College of Business making her a vital asset to both students, staff and the community. When not working, Jody enjoys volunteering in the community with her children or participating in one of the many festivals Denton has to offer.

Rita Lankston earned her Associate of Arts degree from Tarrant County College and has more than 17 years experience working in higher education as an administrative assistant in various departments.
