Permanent Residency

U.S. permanent residents and those pending approval of permanent residency are required to provide proof of English proficiency. Please see TOEFL Requirements and Exemptions  for additional information.

Additional admission documents and test requirements can be viewed under the corresponding section in the Admissions home page. Applicants should also view the International Admission Requirements if studies were completed outside of the U.S.

Permanent Residents

Permanent Residents should submit a domestic admission application.  A copy of the front and back of the permanent resident card is required. If the permanent resident card is currently being processed, a copy of the I-797 Notice of Action approval notice for case type I-485 verifying approval of permanent residency should be provided.

Pending Permanent Residents

Applicants who have not obtained an I-797 permanent resident approval notice for form I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status) should submit an international admission application. In order to verify pending PR status, applicants should also provide copies of I-797 Notice of Action that have been received.

Applicants should review and submit the Core Residency Questionnaire in order to determine if they qualify for in-state tuition. Questions regarding the Residency Questionnaire should be directed to the Office of the Registrar.
