We are going to miss Dr. Christa Downer, Women's Studies Visiting Professor after two years of service to our department.  A party was held in her honor in May 2012 and here are some of the pictures:

International Women's Day, March 8, 2012, the film Miss Representation was shown during International Women's Day moderated by Dr. Danielle Phillips, Women's Studies Assistant Professor and Erica Granados-De La Rosa, a Women's Studies Master's student.







The film Maquilapolis was shown on april 26, 2011 followed by an information panel discussion including Women's Studies Master's student, Berenice Dimas and Dr. Paula Ann Hughes, Professor and Director, School of Management.











Gloria SteinemGloria Steinem was a guest speaker at TWU on March 2008.  Dean Ann Staton, Dr. Claire L. Sahlin, and Dr. Sinah Goode facilitated the event.
