Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a national holiday marking the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebrated on the third Monday of January, this year it will be January 20, 2013. In commemoration of his legacy of activism and public service, TWU Volunteer Services encourages students, faculty and staff to make this holiday a day ON rather than a day OFF.
