Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a national holiday marking the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebrated on the third Monday of January, this year it will be January 19, 2015. In commemoration of his legacy of activism and public service, TWU Volunteer Services encourages students, faculty and staff to make this holiday a day ON rather than a day OFF.

Volunteer projects links are below and include a description of what you'll be doing, when and where to meet, and what time you will be volunteering. Volunteers will be provided with a free long sleeve t-shirt, beanie hat, and lunch.
