Helping Hands is a Center for Student Development (CSD) sponsored student organization dedicated to the support of Texas Woman's University students interested in learning about volunteerism and participating in community service. Our goal is to help students in their personal growth by making a difference in our community!

Helping Hands plans and sponsors service projects and special events throughout the year. You can be a part of the planning process or just participate in TWU Helping Hands-sponsored activities. Students participate in a variety of group projects with their fellow students including working with children at Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home, beautifying the city with Keep Denton Beautiful, visiting the residents at local nursing homes, and assisting with a variety of community events and agencies.

Meetings are held every other Wednesday at 4:30pm in the Student Union. For more information about Helping Hands, please contact Erin Lansmon-Winter at elansmon@twu.edu.

Volunteer alone, volunteer with your friends, or volunteer with your student organization members! Just volunteer!
