About the Program

The painting concentration at Texas Woman's University provides a strong foundation of basic techniques and concepts while developing critical thinking skills and original imagery. Undergraduate students with a Painting concentration will be pursuing the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree culminates in an exhibition in the East | West Galleries (the Bachelor of Arts does not culminate in an exhibition).
The Master of Arts and the Master of Fine Arts are offered at the graduate level. The Master of Fine Arts degree also culminates in an exhibition in the East | West Galleries.
