Wendy Pedrero

Wendy Pedrero was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and has lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for 19 years. In 1986, after graduating from The University of Puerto Rico with a B.A. in Foreign Languages and Theater Arts, she became a customer service employee for American Airlines, where she progressed into various managerial positions. In 2002, after making the challenging decision to change careers, Ms. Pedrero returned to college to pursue a degree in graphic design, and following graduation, she was hired as Assistant Editor for Latino Leaders Magazine, a national publication that targets the top tier section of the Hispanic population in the U.S.
Currently, Ms. Pedrero is the editor-in-chief of the magazine and as such, she is in charge of all of the editorial aspects of the business venture, as well as the administrative portions of the business that pertain to the editorial area. As the second executive in command of the magazine’s overall operation, she has numerous responsibilities, as well as a clear understanding of the essence and demands of each aspect of the publishing business.
A member of various professional associations, Ms. Pedrero speaks five languages, has participated in a variety of special projects for various national organizations, both professionally and as a student, and she has also been recognized as a leader in her profession.
In 2004, Ms. Pedrero was inducted to the Empire’s Who’s Who list of top professionals in the U.S.A., and in 2007 she was inducted to the Cambridge Who’s Who among Executive and Professional Women registry, Honors Edition.
