Office of Undergraduate Studies

TWU is a comprehensive public university offering bachelor's degrees in more than 34 academic disciplines and more than 80 transfer articulation agreements with our community college partners.  Other agreements are being regularly developed with additional colleges.  A bachelor's degree from TWU is the gateway to a rewarding career in the twenty-first century.

This site is designed to provide students with access to support services and programs that will help them succeed in earning a bachelor's degree and excel in their chosen majors.


The Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Studies

  • Coordinates transfer articulation agreements

  • Coordinates developmental education and pre-freshman programs

  • Supervises Academic Support Services:  Office of Disability Support Services, Academic Advising Center, Mathematics and Technology Success Center, Science Learning Resource Center, the Honors Scholar Program, and the Write Site

  • Leads in academic efforts to improve undergraduate retention

  • Edits the (undergraduate) General Catalog

  • Coordinates scheduling of undergraduate programs to meet enrollment growth needs

  • Is responsible for administrative management of the core curriculum

  • Maintains the academic course inventory

  • Performs additional duties as needed
