TWU Offers Little Chapel Wedding Package

Zephyr Winds To Perform
At TWU

DENTON — The
Texas Woman’s University wind and percussion faculty will
join forces as Zephyr Winds and Friends performs in concert at 8
p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 in the auditorium of the Multipurpose Classroom
and Laboratory Building, located on Bell Avenue on TWU’s Denton
campus. Admission is free.
Zephyr Winds, a musical
ensemble with a core membership from TWU, is comprised of Dr. Richard
Rodean, interim dean of the TWU College of Arts and Sciences, on
bassoon; Dr. Pamela Youngblood, associate professor of music, on
flute; and Dr. John Wheeler, adjunct faculty member, on clarinet.
Additional faculty will join in the performance of chamber music
selections which include works by Arnold, Ibert, Bizet and Dahl.
Organized in 1995, Zephyr
Winds is regularly featured throughout the state in concerts that
focus upon rarely heard music for a variety of instrumental combinations.
