DENTON — Dr. Dawn Adrian Adams will be the guest lecturer for the Templeton/ASA Grant Lecture Series, scheduled for Nov. 12 in room 301 of the Administration Conference Tower at Texas Woman's University. Her first lecture, titled "A New Typology for the Religion-Science Dialogue" will take place at 1 p.m., and a 7:30 p.m. lecture is titled "A Narrative Analysis of the Relationship Between Evolutionary Science and Religion." Admission is free.

She was awarded a $120,000 grant from the National Science Foundation for a project on native cultures science, which will result in a book and be the basis for a film and museum exhibit on the subject. The project also has partial support from the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian and the National Institutes of Health.
