Corrected TWU Drama Production Dates


DENTON — The drama program at Texas Woman's University has announced revised production dates for the 2002-2003 season.

  • The Diviners by James Leonard will be presented Oct. 4-5 and Oct. 9-12 at 8 p.m. Dr. Tony Medlin will direct. The production will take place in the Patio Building, located next to the Arts & Sciences Building on Oakland Avenue.
  • Finian's Rainbow, based on the book by E.Y. Harburg and Fred Saidy, with lyrics by Harburg and music by Burton Lane, will be presented Nov. 8-9 and Nov. 13-16 at 8 p.m. and Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. Sharon Benge will direct.
  • The Dresser by Ronald Harwood will be presented Feb. 21-22, Feb. 26-28 and March 1, 2003 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 23, 2003 at 2 p.m. Dr. Mary Lou Hoyle will direct.
  • Miss Julie by August Strindberg will be presented April 9-12, 2003 at 8 p.m. and April 13, 2003 at 2 p.m. Dr. Mary Lou Hoyle will direct.

Finian's Rainbow, The Dresser and Miss Julie will be presented in TWU's Redbud Theatre, located off Bell Avenue just south of University Drive. For information, contact the box office at (940) 898-2020.
