Practice Soccer Field Construction To Begin

DENTON — Texas Woman’s University is scheduled to begin construction Aug 7 on a soccer practice field off Woodland Street, at the far north end of the TWU campus. Construction will take approximately seven days to complete.

The field will be used for the Pioneers’ daytime practices and occasional recreational use. Goals and benches for the team will be located at the site, but there will be neither lights nor bleachers.

Competition for the 2004 season will take place at the University of North Texas.
