TWU To Host Ninth Annual Monster Flute Choir Concert

DENTON — The Texas Woman's University and Brookhaven College flute choirs will join forces for the ninth annual Monster Flute Choir Concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the Margo Jones Performance Hall, located at Oakland and Sawyer streets on TWU's Denton campus.

Admission is free.

Dr. Pamela Youngblood, coordinator of instrumental activities at TWU, will direct the combined flute choirs.

The program will include original compositions for flute choir by Kathleen Mayne, Eva Young and Todd Coleman; arrangements of classics by Mendelssohn, Ravel and Dvorak, as well as several jazz and folk selections.
