Krassimira Jordan To
Perform At TWU

DENTON — Internationally
known pianist Krassimira Jordan will perform Wednesday, Oct. 20
at Texas Woman’s University. The concert will take place at
7:30 p.m. in Margo Jones Performance Hall, located at Pioneer Circle
and Oakland Avenue on TWU’s Denton campus. Admission is free.

Jordan, an artist in
residence and professor of piano at Baylor University, began her
formative musical training at age 4. She made her recital debut
at age 7, and later studied under Stanislav Neuhaus and Emil Gilels.
She has won a number of prestigious awards, including the Alfredo
Casella, Alessandro Casagrande, Clara Haskil and Rio de Janeiro
international piano competitions.
Jordan has performed
throughout Europe and in Mexico, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and
the United States.
