The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. in the Edwin Hornberger Conference Center, located at 2151 W. Holcombe Blvd. Students and family members who have tickets are invited to attend.

Approximately 191 degrees will be conferred during the Houston commencement. TWU’s Denton ceremonies, which include graduates from the Denton and Dallas campuses, will take place Saturday, Dec. 17. TWU Chancellor Dr. Ann Stuart will preside at each ceremony.

Rep. Wong has served State District 134 since 2003. She is vice chair of the House Urban Affairs Committee, and is serving her second term as vice chair of the House Rules and Resolutions Committee. Rep. Wong also is a member of the House State Affairs Committee.
