TWU to present “Habitat 101” Nov. 14

DENTON —
Texas Woman’s University’s Habitat for Humanity
chapter will highlight the plight of homelessness when it
presents “Habitat 101” Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. on the
second floor of the Student Union, located at the southwest
corner of Bell Avenue and Administration Drive on the Denton
campus.
Speakers will provide
testimonials on how the Habitat for Humanity program works.
A representative from Denton County’s Habitat for Humanity,
a former homeless person and a current owner of a Habitat
house are expected to speak during the presentation. The event
is free and open to the public and light refreshments will

“Habitat
101” is one of many activities scheduled at TWU to mark
National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, which is
Nov. 13 - 10.
