DENTON Texas Woman's University student Kimberly Gay of
Denton recently was awarded the top scholarship from the Press
Club of Dallas Foundation a $2,000 scholarship in the name
of the Dallas Times Herald.
Gay, a senior mass communications major at TWU, also is a
candidate for the organization's Katie Awards, which award
excellence in journalism in a five-state area. The Press Club's
annual scholarship banquet will be held in November.

to become a university journalism professor while also working as
a news reporter.

John and Bobbie Gay of Denton.
The Press Club of Dallas promotes professional journalism and
