Garage Sale Donations Sought

DENTON — Gently used donations are being accepted for a garage sale to benefit the Pioneer School at Texas Woman's University. Donations will be accepted Aug. 2, Aug. 9 and Aug. 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the school, located at 1900 Cherrywood.

The garage sale will be held Aug. 24 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school. Proceeds will benefit a Pioneer School renovation program.

The Pioneer School is a preschool for children ages 2 through 4. Founded in 1928 as the TWU Nursery School, the school was renamed in 2001. The school's mission is to provide quality early childhood education while serving as an education and training facility for TWU undergraduate and graduate students.
