TWU dance department presents DanceMakers

DENTON —
The Texas Woman’s University Department of Dance will
present a diverse range of choreographic visions in DanceMakers,
scheduled Nov. 17-19 in the Margo Jones Performance Hall,
located at Oakland and Sawyer streets on TWU’s Denton
campus. Presentations range from comedic parodies of the 1950s
images of women in dresses vacuuming, to considerations of
the complex mechanics of the human body.
Performances are
at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 and at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday,
Nov. 18 and 19. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for students
and seniors and $4 for TWU students. For more information,
