TWU Schedules Composers Concert

DENTON — Music composed by current and former Texas Woman's University faculty members will be presented in concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, in the Margo Jones Performance Hall, located at Pioneer Circle and Oakland Avenue on TWU's Denton campus. Admission is free.

Compositions by Lanelle Blanton, James Chenevert, Norma Davidson, Keith Fleming, John Flohr, Carlo Pezzimenti, Joseph Pinson and John Wheeler will be performed by TWU faculty and students. The new or recently-composed works to be performed include solo songs, selections from a children's opera, solos for flute and guitar, and chamber works including music for brass quartet, woodwind quintet, handbells and synthesizer.
