The Rev. Leo Booth to be guest speaker at TWU

- DENTON — Internationally known author the Rev. Leo
Booth will speak to a Texas Woman’s University addictions
counseling class from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 in room
209 of the Human Development Building, located on Bell Avenue
on TWU’s Denton campus. The public is invited to attend,
and there is no cost for admission. For a map of the campus,

Booth, a former
Episcopal priest, is a Unity minister and certified addictions
counselor and certified eating disorders counselor. He also
has been approved as an education provider by the National
Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. He contributes
regularly to newspapers throughout the United States and is
the author of 10 publications, including “When God Becomes
a Drug,” “The Wisdom of Letting Go” and
“Pearl in the Rice.” He has appeared on “The
Oprah Winfrey Show” and “Good Morning America.”
