TWU Student Receives APTA Scholarship

HOUSTON — Texas Woman's University physical therapy master's degree student Sandy K. Do of Houston is a recipient of the 2002 Minority Scholarship Award for Academic Excellence from the American Physical Therapy Association. The scholarship award is $4,000.

Scholarship recipients must demonstrate contributions in the area of minority affairs and services with an emphasis on contributions made while enrolled in a physical therapy education program; potential to contribute to the profession of physical therapy; and scholastic achievement.

Ms. Do is a second year master's student at TWU's Houston campus.
