TWU Offers Little Chapel Wedding Package

TWU To Display Portion
Of AIDS Quilt 10/30/03
DENTON — World
AIDS Day will be commemorated at Texas Woman’s University
on Dec. 1 with a display of four blocks from the AIDS Memorial Quilt.
The display will hang from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the Student Center,
located at the intersection of Bell Avenue and Administration Drive.
All other artwork in the building will be covered that day.
Along with the quilt
display, information about HIV/AIDS and free HIV testing will be
available to students and the public.
Each quilt block —12-feet
by 12-feet — is made of four panels with each panel representing
a person who died of AIDS. The more than 45,000 panels in the quilt
were submitted by family and loved ones of the deceased.
