Dance Center slates registration

DENTON —
Children, teens and adults are invited to explore their creative
potential through dance this fall at the Community Dance Center
at Texas Woman’s University.
TWU’s Community
Dance Center offers classes for all ages and abilities. Creative
Movement and Creative Dance classes for ages 3 to 12 use movement
ideas, imagery and music to explore space, rhythm, dynamics
and energy. Pilates
conditioning classes for teens and adults are designed to
build strength and increase flexibility, coordination and
range of motion. The Classical Pilates mat exercises as well
as other dance toning techniques will be introduced.
Other types of
classes offered include ballroom dancing, ballet, hip-hop
jazz, Latin, Dances of India and more.
Some classes are
offered for six-week sessions and others for 10 weeks. Costs
range from $50 to $95. All classes take place in the TWU Dance
Building, located on the corner of Bell Avenue and Administration
Drive on TWU’s Denton campus.
Registration ends
Monday, Aug. 29, with classes beginning Tues., Sept. 6. For
