TWU To Host Fundraising Symposium

DENTON — Texas Woman’s University, in conjunction with the Dallas and Fort Worth chapters of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), will host the 18th Annual Southwest Fundraising Symposium, Feb. 23-26 on TWU’s Denton campus.

The symposium provides participants who have less than two years of experience with the fundamentals of fundraising. Topics to be covered include the basic principles of fundraising, developing an annual giving program, working with volunteers, conducting a capital campaign and developing special events.

Registration through Feb. 4 for AFP members is $350. Registration Feb. 5-11 is $395 for AFP members and $495 for non-members. After Feb. 11, registration is $445 for AFP members and $545 for non-members.

Participants completing the symposium will receive 2.4 continuing education credits.
