TWU Offers Little Chapel Wedding Package

TWU Flute Choir Marks

DENTON — Texas
Woman’s University will host the 10th Annual Fall Flute Choir
Concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the Margo Jones Performance
Hall, located at Oakland and Sawyer streets on TWU’s Denton
campus. The event is free and open to the public.
The concert will feature
the combined flute choirs of TWU and Brookhaven College under the
direction of Dr. Pamela Youngblood, TWU associate professor of music.
Youngblood founded the TWU Flute Choir in 1994.
The concert will feature a variety of selections from Renaissance
to Jazz, including original music by Matt Doran, Deborah Anderson
and John Frantzen, and arrangements of orchestral music by William
Byrd, Massenet and Elgar. The event also will feature dancers from
the TWU Department of Dance with choreography by TWU graduate student
Stephanie Milling-Robbins.
